March was a busy month for us here at the Cormode house. Seemed like every week, we had house guests...each was a blessing and though we're still recovering:), we are thankful for the moments with each one.
Charlie has a little friend Katie who comes to play some days while her mommy works.

The week of March 8, Dan had a few days vacation. We met our good friends the Milliser's in Tennessee, and from there, the guys went camping in the wild, and the women and children came back to Louisville to hang out for a few days. Here are some of the highlights.
After several hours in the car, we were all ready for
a little rest. Here Charlie sits on Krista's lap while twins Patrick and
Aaron and big brother Joseph sit close by.

Two year olds are curious anyway, but put two 2 year olds brothers in the same house, and the curiosity factor increases more than double!
Big brother Joseph went to spend a few nights with all his girl cousins in Owensboro, Kentucky, so our parting picture is missing him. Here we say goodbye to Krista, Patrick and Aaron.
The following week, Dan's sister Rachel and her husband Kevin and their three girls came through on their way to Missouri. It was a whirlwind tour, less than 24 hours, but we were sure glad they stopped!!

Then after the Linn family left, our special friend Cheri came for a little visit.
One weekend, we babysat for our new friend, Ethan while his mom and dad went out on a date.

Nana and Papa's Visit
The last week in March, Papa Birk managed to take a "business" trip toward Louisville. We know he really did lots of work, but are convinced that it was all an excuse to see Charlie:) He's not proud or anything:
